This body of 100 drawings is shown in the red light district of a city. An urban area where the revised original 1987 Catwoman, and countless other women, have their first well paid adult job. Through the drawings, a woman- who we can assume to be Catwoman- is seen busy with different activities, working towards an outcome that remains unclear. It is also unclear whether this figure is the same woman, or even the same character- but we trust it is catwoman by what she is wearing. What is very clear throughout though, is that she is always on her own. 100 depictions of a woman’s labour, jouissance and defence against unseen aggressors are ink drawn on A4 office paper.
